Practice Front Spiky Styling One Action at a Time

The styling guide on Spiky Hairstyle Try On is now available. It is designed for people learning to style a front-spiky haircut themselves, with action cards you can keep beside the mirror and follow as you practice.

Start by choosing a reference routine. The fine or flat hair route includes a flat iron and has 10 steps, with an estimated duration of 15 to 16 minutes. The coarse or permed hair route skips the iron and has 6 steps, estimated at 5 to 6 minutes. Both estimates exclude washing, and your pace will depend on your experience.

Each action card combines written instructions, static illustrations, and a check to complete before moving on. The first card, for example, separates towel-drying, lifting the hair to reach the roots, drying in sections, and checking for remaining moisture. This makes the order easier to follow while your hands are busy.

When you have completed the action, use the next-step button to continue. You can also return to the previous card to review it. The timer counts up from zero, and you control when the steps advance, so you can focus on the action in front of you.

The completion page includes front, side, and back reference views to help you check the overall shape, along with an option to practice again. My aim is to make each session specific: understand what you are doing now and what to check before continuing.
