The annual Apple launch event has concluded. New Mac hardware and the macOS ecosystem continue to attract creators and developers. Taking this opportunity, we are pleased to officially announce that the latest version of MediaSync‑Claw has completed adaptation for the macOS environment. Relevant code has been submitted to the Git and ClawHub repositories. Users and developers with Mac devices may pull the latest code for updates and testing.
For a long time, the MediaSync‑Claw project targets media acquisition and sample synchronization, with initial priority support for the Windows platform. Driven by continuous community feedback, a growing number of Mac‑using researchers, microscopy‑image creators and tech enthusiasts have reached out, requesting the ability to run the full media‑synchronization pipeline natively on M‑series Macs without virtual machines or remote‑server relays. This macOS adaptation is an important response to community demands.
Core Updates in This Release
1.Full‑environment macOS Adaptation
The new release completes porting to the macOS platform, with native support for Apple Silicon (M‑series chips) as well as Intel‑architecture Macs. Both the core project module MediaSync‑Claw and its companion tool Aipollosync can be directly compiled and run under macOS. The full workflow for media file fetching, synchronization and preprocessing is now enabled on Mac. Mac users can locally perform existing functions including image‑sample acquisition, metadata association and batch synchronization, and are no longer limited to Windows / Linux devices.
2.Code Repository Updates Completed
All relevant code for this adaptation has been submitted to the Git version library and the ClawHub project repository. All changes are fully open‑source; you may directly inspect the commit change logs.
