A Planned Barber Card Makes Haircut Preferences Clearer

A barber communication card is being planned for Spiky Hairstyle Try On. I want to help users move from liking a haircut to organizing the shape, length preferences, and daily habits they want to discuss at the barbershop.

Figure 1. The upper part of the user-provided barber-card concept presents the style direction and discussion fields. The interface remains in Simplified Chinese.

User-provided barber-card concept

The current design separates the conversation into style notes, hair-texture information, the top and fringe, and height and texture. A reference image at the top provides a shared starting point before discussing which details need adjustment.

The texture and styling text in this sample is illustrative. It is not a personal assessment for every user. The planned workflow would use information users provide about their own hair and the selected style to prepare discussion points that a barber can confirm against their actual hair.

Proposed barber-card fields for daily styling and pre-cut and post-cut discussion plus a save-card-image button

Figure 2. The lower part of the concept includes tools and products, daily styling time, pre-cut checks, and a request for a styling demonstration, with a proposed save-image button.

Detail from the user-provided barber-card concept

Daily maintenance belongs in that conversation too: whether someone uses tools or products, how much time they want to spend, and what they would like the barber to demonstrate. These details make the discussion more specific and help connect a chosen look with the routine that would follow it.

The layout exists as a concept, while content generation, data connections, and saving still need development and validation. The homepage and styling guide are available today. The longer-term goal is to link the card with style selection and try-on, then connect it to a relevant guide for practicing at home.
