A Planned Hair Color Preview Would Compare Colors on Your Photo

Hair-color preview is another feature being planned for Spiky Hairstyle Try On. I want users to compare colors on the same personal photo, narrow their preferences, and decide what they would like to discuss with a hairstylist. The feature is not available yet and does not have its own interface concept.

The goal is to retain the existing haircut as much as possible so the comparison focuses on color. When the style, person, and setting all change between reference images, it can be difficult to explain which part you like. A personal-photo preview is intended to make that choice more direct.

The related material available now is the color-reference section of the planned hairstyle poster. It places black and several brown directions side by side to illustrate comparing options before narrowing them down. Its hair and color wording is sample poster content, not evidence that color-changing functionality has been completed.

Personal-photo upload, color selection, preview generation, and comparison between results still need to be developed. Retaining the original haircut and making the color differences clear are among the behaviors that will need testing.

I also want the preview to provide a useful reference for a salon conversation. Users could retain a preferred color direction, then discuss what is practical for their own hair. A preview would be a visual reference; the actual color result would still need that individual discussion.

The homepage and front-spiky styling guide are the available parts of the website today. Color preview is being planned alongside hairstyle try-on, barber cards, and the face-shape poster, with a dedicated page and usage details to follow when it is ready.
